The No One’s Rose, a unique piece of music theater, has at its center the poetry of prolific 20th century poet and Holocaust survivor Paul Celan, which asks a difficult question: what can be recovered after a whole world disappears? AMOC* and Philharmonia’s musicians and dancers join forces for this powerful meditation on loss and recovery.
A co-production of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale and AMOC*
Commissioned by Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale and Stanford Live
Premiered August 25-29, 2021 at Bing Concert Hall, Stanford, CA
