Louise Lessél is a New Media Artist and Technical Director based in New York. With a background in interaction design, computer science, and immersive art, she creates perception-driven works that merge light, code, and space into contemplative, sensory experiences. Her practice blends poetic sensibility with advanced tracking technologies, responsive visuals, and real-time systems design. She teaches projection design at NYU and leads ongoing research into performative technologies. Louise is known for bespoke visual collaborations with musicians and performers, including the immersive works for Sitrekin, SØSTR, and Glas, which integrate sensor-driven visuals with spatial sound. She is a frequent collaborator of Deborah Johnson and one half of the Danish artist duo Uberørt.
