In March and April of 2018, AMOC was Artist-in-Residence at Park Avenue Armory among a group of peers including artists Carrie Mae Weems and Nick Cave, FLEXN creator Reggie ‘Regg Roc’ Gray, and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights Branden Jacob Jenkins and Lynn Nottage. During this time, AMOC’s artists were fortunate to have access to the historic Company C, a Louis Comfort Tiffany and Stanford White-designed former locker room that is now used as a studio space for such residencies

As part of this period, AMOC worked on projects and chamber music programs - including With Care, Were You There, and Veils for Desire - in preparation for the upcoming season.

Park Avenue Armory’s Artist-in-Residence program is made possible by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
